    Why are people asking these very basic probability questions ? If this question is beyond your logic, you should really only study junior school Maths.

    Anyhow here goes there are (OBVIOUSLY !!! ) 4 multiples of 5 ie 5,10,15,20—and 2 multiples of 7 ie 7,14, which satisfy the question.

    Therefore the prob. of selecting one of these is 6/20=3/10=0.3=30% NEXT !

    As we have 20 balls the favourable balls numbers would be 5, 7, 10, 14, 15, 20 which is 6 in total. So the provabiltiy for our favourable balls would be favourable balls / total balls that is 6 / 20 = 0.3

    The way the question is worded is slightly ambigious. It asks for 5 or 7 instead of 5 and 7. So using the former we get 2 possibilities whereas the latter would be a 5 answer possibility. With a ratio of 3 to 2 or 20%
