    Solution Verified by Toppr

    Correct option is C)

    Radius of circular path, r=20cm

    Linear speed of particle moving in circular path,v=10m/s

    We know the formula is v=wr

    Where,

    w is angular velocity

    v  is linear velocity of particle and r is the radius of circular path.

    w= r v  = 20 10  =0.5rad/s  Hence,

    angular velocity of particle is 0.5rad/s

    so option C is correct answer.

    A quantitative description of any physical phenomena always involves certain measurable quantities in terms of which the laws of physics are invariably expressed. Such quantities like force, velocity, time, density, charge, temperature etc. others, are called observable bulding blocks of physics. Therefore, a physical quantity must be defined clearly and precisely by specifying either a procedure for measuring the quantity or a way to calculate quantity from other quantities that can be measured. For example: one can define distance and time by specifying some laboratory operations for measuring them and then can define the speed of a moving object as the distance travelled by the time taken.

    {"Physical quantities can be classified into following two categories :","(i) Fundamental quantiries. Physical quantities (ure a set of suitably chosen independent observables which ane defined operationalt.","For convinience it was agreed to choose a set of length, mass, time, thermodynamic temperature, electric current, luminous intensity and amount of substance to constitute a set known as fundamental quantities.","(ii) Derived quantities. Quantities which are defined in terms of fundamental quantities are knoten as derived quantities."}
