Around 11.99 lakhs student apply for JEE exam.
Central Board of Secondary Education CBSE), which is the exam conducting authority for JEE Main, has registered a dip of nearly 1% in registrations as compared to the previous year. This is the 3rd year in a row that JEE Main applications have shown a dip. As per CBSE officials, as many as 11,98,989 students have registered for the national level engineering entrance examination this year. Out of the 11,98,989 registered candidates, 8,62,526 are male candidates, while 3,36,460 are female and 3 are transgenders. This means that around 72% male candidates will be sitting for JEE Main 2017 , while the female test takers will be over 27%.

Approximately 12 lakh students appeared for JEE Main Entrance exam this year out of them approximately 2,20,000 students selected for JEE Advance.

JEE Mains 2023 hall ticket will be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in admit card 2023. Candidates will have to use their application number and password/date of birth at JEE Main 2023 login for JEE Main admit card download.JEE Main 2023 exam date first attempt has been revised. The exam will now be held on 24, 25, 29, 30, and 31 January and February 1 for Paper 1 and January 28 for paper 2.JEE Mains intimation slip 2023 has been released. Candidates can download their JEE Mains city slip 2023 using the direct link given below. JEE Main 2023 exam city slip mentions the details of the city in which the candidate's exam centre for JEE Main January 2023 exam is located.Candidates appearing in the exam can check JEE Mains 2023 syllabus, exam pattern and eligibility criteria. NTA has recently revised JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria for admission to institutes. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2023 exam as a Computer Based Test in 399 cities and 25 cities outside India. The total duration of the JEE main exam will be three hours and will have Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. JEE Main 2023 Paper 1 will have a total of 90 questions while Paper 2A and 2B will have 82 and 105 questions respectively.
