the current is same all the way in a series circuit. the current flows back to the negative end of the cell. it doesn’t get used up as it goes through the lamps(bulbs).

Well this is rather obvious. The current that leaves has to return, otherwise it would be blocked and it wouldn’t leave anymore. Compare it to water that leaves a tank, running through connected pipes to end in a lower placed tank. If non of the pipes is leaking, all water will go in that tank.
