    Well here is the method. 1/2, 2/3, 5/9, 6/13, 7/9 can be converted to their decimal form as 0.50, 0.67, 0.56, 0.46, 0.78, which can be arranged in ascending order as 0.46. 0.50. 0.56, 0.67, 0.78.

    So the fourth decimal value, in ascending order is 0.67 and the corresponding fraction is 2/3. Answer.

    Another method: Find the LCM of the denominators

    2 3 9 = 3x3 13

    If they are fractions rather than factors,then 1/2 is smaller than 2/3. 7/9 is greater than 5/9. When we compare 2/3 and 7/9, 7/9 is obvious winner because when we convert them into like fractions 2/3 will become 18/27 and 7/9 will become 21/27. Between 2/3 and 5/9, 2/3 wins hands down with the same logic. Now we have 1/2 is smallest fraction fallowed by 5/9 then by 2/3, and now for championship fight is between 6/13 and 7/9. When we convert them into like fractions 6/13 will become 54/117 and 7/9 will become 91/117 again here 7/9 is hands down winner. The fourth fraction will be 7/9.
