Coronavirus India Lockdown, again? Kya fir se lockdown lagega? Will the lockdown return to India? Here are some major outbreaks on India Lockdown News due to the Covid19- The corona epidemic in China has once again caused an outcry. The situation is very bad and experts around the world have also expressed concern about it. At the same time, preparations to fight this new variant of Corona, which is spreading panic in the world, are going on at full speed in India. The government has taken three major decisions today to deal with the new variant of Corona:The first decision is that the nasal vaccine has been approved. Now the vaccine will also be given through the nose.
The second decision is that on December 27, an all-India mock drill will be conducted in hospitals so that the ability to deal with Corona can be tested.
The third decision is that a new advisory has come on the new eid.
India won’t have a lockdown again, we have a stronger immune system
Due to the fact that 95% of the population has received vaccinations, there will be no need to put the country on lockdown again. The immune systems of Indians are significantly more powerful than those of Chinese people… The fundamentals of COVID—testing, treating, and tracing—need to be revisited in India, said Dr Anil Goyal, President of the Indian Medical Association
In today’s time, the way Corona has caused havoc in China, something similar was done in India in 2020-21. The worst phase of this epidemic was seen in India during this period. Amid the growing threat of Corona, the central government has approved Bharat biotech company’s nasal vaccine.
Bharat Biotech’s Nasal Vaccine Approved by Govt
This vaccine is now available in hospitals. The Covid-19 nasal vaccine means that the vaccine will be injected not through injection but through the nose and it will be used as a booster dose. In the initial phase, this vaccine will be available in private hospitals and people who have taken Covishield and Covaxin vaccines can also take Bharat Biotech’s nasal vaccine.
Mock Drills to be conducted to prepare for the Covid-19 pandemic
Corona is currently under control in the country but the government does not want to take any laxity in preparation. There is no news of the Lockdown in the country as of now.
On December 27, there will be a huge mock drill across the country. Emergency mock drills will be conducted in hospitals across the country. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also visit a hospital. Through this mock drill, the emergency response system will be checked so that the biggest threat of Corona can be dealt with if needed.
It is a matter of relief that corona cases in India are the lowest compared to other countries. Daily cases of corona are increasing in the world but are decreasing in India.

In this regard, the central government is likely to issue a comprehensive advisory to states later in the day which may contain guidelines on following Covid-19 protocol like face mask and social distancing especially during New Year celebrations in public areas.
Earlier in the day, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya made a statement in this regard in the Parliament.
As the Covid cases returned to the centre of India’s health map, the government advised people to get vaccinated and mask up, saying random sample testing will be conducted at airports for passengers arriving from China and other countries.
The new advisory to states could contain the following points:
Wearing of face mask could be made mandatory at public places.
Sashing/sanitising hands frequently could also be made compulsory.
Guidelines on avoiding over-crowding in public places and maintaining proper social distancing could also be issued for New Year celebrations
Testing and tracing is likely to be made compulsory at airports.
Facilities for quarantine and testing will be set up again in the next week
During the review meeting chaired by Health Minister Mandaviya on Wednesday, experts said although there is no overall increase in caseload as of now, there is a need for continued surveillance to keep a track of existing and emerging variants.

In a recent tweet, Dr. Anil Goyal, Indian Medical Assn says that “There won't be a lockdown situation in the country since 95% of the people here are vaccinated. The immunity system of Indians is stronger than that of the Chinese...India needs to go back to COVID basics - testing, treating, tracing”, quoted by ANI. In the midst of the Covid-19 fourth wave concern, India observed an increase in daily coronavirus cases on Thursday (December 22, 2022) and recorded 185 new illnesses.
Just one day prior to the conference, Mansukh Mandaviya, the Union Health Minister, examined the pandemic situation and asked people to adopt Covid-appropriate behavior including wearing masks in crowded settings and getting vaccinated. Given the Covid-19 scenario in India, leading health officials to believe it is time to exercise prudence rather than panic, as the country is unlikely to witness a second wave due to 3-dose protection and herd immunity. States have strengthened surveillance, and random testing of incoming international passengers will be enhanced further.
Experts have emphasised that China's situation is unique because the country was under a strict lockdown until last month, preventing herd immunity from developing. At a high-level meeting on Thursday afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will review the situation in the country about Covid-19.
