    15 metres per second x 3,600 seconds (1 hour) = 54,000 metres per hour or 54 km/h.

    (Note, 60 seconds in 1 minutes & 60 minutes in 1 hour = 3,600 seconds in 1 hour)

    A distance of 1,000 metres is 1 km, So 54,000 metres = Distance of 54 km.

    Yes,multiple it by 18/5. Why? see,

    1m=1/1000km and 1 second=1/3600 hour

    So,m/s= 1/1000 / 1/3600

    =3600/1000 =18/5 km/h 15 X 18/5 =3 X 18 =54

    So, 15m/s is 54km/h.

    Hope it helps.

    How do I convert 15,000 m/s into km/h?

    OK, let’s break it down into some simple stages.

    You have a speed of 15000 metres per second.

    Divide that by 1000 to get 15 kilometres per second.

    You can now multiply that by 60 to get 900 kilometres per minute, and multiply again by 60 to get 54000 kilometres per hour.

    Q: Can you convert 15m/s in km/h?

    A: There is a trick to answering unit conversions of this kind. It consists of writing in the units in question, and multiplying each term in the equation by a factor which equals one which is always correct. Then cancel units which appear in both numerator and denominator.

    Example: how many minutes in 321 seconds? 1 minute/60 seconds is a factor of one, so we write 321 seconds x 1 min/60 sec = 321 min /60 = 5.35 min

    If you would prefer to express 0.35 min as seconds?

    0.35 min x ( 60 sec / 1 min) = 0.35 x 60 sec / 1 = 21 sec.

    You will think this is cumbersome, and
