    The Festival of Gardens is going to host some of the most spectacular flowers ever known to man. You have almost 100 different types of Bougainvillaea, besides 10,000 Tulip bulbs in various shades imported from the Netherlands. There are seven gardens here at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, and each of these contains the very best from the flora world.

    There are about 159 varieties of Roses on display here for guests, names that you might not have even heard before. So you will see roses such as Adora, Mrinalini, Oklahoma, Modern Art, Blue Moon, to name a few. Other flowers include daffodils, hyacinth, among other seasonal flowers. The gardens are so vibrant and big that the Rashtrapati Bhavan employees 300 people to maintain and develop the flowers and the whole garden.

    The Rashtrapati Bhavan garden, known as Mughal Gardens, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and scenic gardens of India. It is 15 acres of land, and was inspired by the gardens in Jammu and Kashmir, and as well the gardens surrounding Taj Mahal, Agra. It was designed by Edward Lutyens, who also designed the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

    By India Today Web Desk: Udyanotsav 2018 has started in full swing. It is one of the biggest attractions of Delhi, which makes it a must-visit. The Mughal Gardens' gates will only remain open till March 9, from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. There are many special features of the gardens this year, which are not to miss.

    The Mughal Gardens will remain open for the public from February 6, 2018 to March 9, 2018 (except on Mondays and March 2, 2018, Holi) between 0930 hrs to 1600 hrs.
