Hint:Parliament meets at least twice a year as per the constitution to make decisions on various important matters as well for other functions.Complete answer:

Parliament is a legislative body of government. It has mainly three functions which include representing the electorate, making laws, and overseeing the government via hearings and inquiries. It is a bicameral legislature composed of the President of India and the two houses which are the Rajya Sabha (Council of States) and the Lok Sabha (House of the People).

It is stated in Article 85 of the constitution that there should not be a gap of more than six months between two sessions of Parliament. It also states that the President can summon a session of Parliament. Our Parliament House (also called Sansad Bhavan) is located in New Delhi. This was designed by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker. In India, our Parliament meets for three sessions in a year. Starting with the Budget session which is the longest and held towards the beginning of the year.

The other two sessions are a three-week Monsoon Session from July to August, and Winter Session which is also three weeks long, held in November-December.

The correct answer is Option B.Note:Our parliament has three sessions each year. As per articles 85, there should not be a gap of more than 6 months between sessions. In that case, the president can summon a session of Parliament. Our parliament consists of the President of India and the two houses which are the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha.
