Delhi Metro is a world-class metro. To ensure reliability and safety in train operations, it is equipped with the most modern communication and train control system. It has state-of-art air-conditioned coaches. Ticketing and passenger control are through Automatic Fare Collection System, which is introduced in the country for the first time. Travelling in Delhi Metro is a pleasure with trains ultimately available at three minutes frequency. Entries and exits to metro stations are controlled by flap-doors operated by 'smart-cards' and contact less tokens.

Entry tickets to the India International Trade Fair (IITF) are now on sale through the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for both the “business days” (14-18 November) and the “general public days” (19-27 November). 67 designated Metro stations are selling IITF entry tickets on “Business” days and “General Public” days.The Supreme Court metro station will not sell IITF tickets as it is in close proximity to Pragati Maidan is this station. The DMRC said that the customer service centres of all 67 metro stations will sell IITF tickets between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., seven days a week. The stations that would be selling the Trade Fair Tickets are as follows :-

To cater to the rush during the Trade Fair, additional ticketing counters, Guards, officers & staff will be deployed at Supreme Court Metro station as it is nearest to Pragati Maidan Trade Fair venue and other stations as required.
